Mahesh Aitha (maheshaitha.org), a biomedical researcher, believes every student should have
equitable access to quality education. He has personal experience with the transformative power
of education. He will advocate for diversity and the importance of recruiting and retaining
highly qualified educators and supporting staff and administrators from diverse backgrounds
based on his global experience with the breadth and depth of diverse education systems. He
believes diversity will foster an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. His
priorities include college and career readiness, expanding early childhood education and special
education programs, and supporting and providing resources for students with developmental
delays.
