Residential Growth

Proposed Bill 24-12, an Establishment of a Temporary Residential Growth Moratorium Ordinance, will create a new section in Frederick County Code for a residential growth moratorium in Frederick County with the encouragement that the City of Frederick and elsewhere will also adopt a moratorium.  Read Bill 24-12

There will be a public hearing about this bill on August 27 at 5:30 PM at Winchester Hall, 12 E Church St. Frederick MD.

To Take Action:

1) Email a letter or message to all members of the Frederick County Council: [email protected].

Place in the subject line: “Moratorium Bill 24-12.” Please cc: [email protected].

2) Attend the hearing on Tuesday, August 27th at 5:30 PM and give in-person public comments. You will be given three (3) minutes.

3) Call in to give live public comments or record a message to be played at the public hearing.

Press 2 to record a comment (only those voicemails made after the start time of the meeting will be played during the meeting)
